Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 April 2026

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the Genitco website at genitco.com and related subdomains. They do not govern the products or services Genitco delivers to clients. Those are set out in individual scoping agreements, Statements of Work, Master Services Agreements, or equivalent contracts signed between Genitco and the client. Where a signed client contract exists, that contract prevails for the services it covers.

2. Who We Are

The website is operated by Genitco OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. All engagements, including UK-facing ones, currently contract with Genitco OÜ. Genitco Ltd (England & Wales, company no. 17150696) is incorporated and active, but does not yet contract with clients. Contact: hello@genitco.com.

3. Permitted Use

You may browse the website, read published content, and use our contact forms, chat widget, and booking links for legitimate enquiries about our services. You must not use the site to probe, scan, or attempt to bypass security controls; to submit unlawful, misleading, or malicious content; to scrape content for republication without permission; or to interfere with the normal operation of the site or its users. Rate limits apply to forms and chat to protect service availability.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the website (text, design, logos, guides, case studies, and code samples) is owned by Genitco or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not reproduce, mirror, or redistribute substantial portions without prior written permission. Any open-source code we publish is governed by its own licence file.

5. Information You Submit

When you submit a contact form, booking enquiry, or chat message, you warrant that the information is accurate, lawful, and yours to share. You grant Genitco a limited licence to process that information for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and qualifying the engagement. How we handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. No Warranty on Website Content

Website content is provided for information only. Guides, comparisons, and chat responses are not professional advice for your specific circumstances. We take care to be accurate but make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current. Regulated advice (legal, medical, financial) requires a signed engagement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Genitco is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss-of-profits damages arising from your use of the website. Our aggregate liability for anything connected to your use of this website is limited to GBP 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Liability relating to services Genitco delivers under a signed contract is governed by that contract, not by these website terms.

8. Third-Party Links

The website links to external sites (e.g. regulator pages, documentation, our public GitHub). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Changes

We may revise these terms as the business evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Estonian law, and the courts of Tallinn have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Genitco OÜ is the contracting entity for all engagements, UK and EU alike. Genitco Ltd (England & Wales, company no. 17150696) is incorporated but does not yet contract with clients; this section will be updated if that changes. Mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law are unaffected.
